Job summary
This role will require you to provide excellent assessment and intervention to children and young people with a range of mental health and emotional difficulties.
You will manage your own caseload with the support of a friendly multi disciplinary team
Additionally you will provide leadership support to junior members of the team which will include supervision, caseload supervision and peer support
Main duties of the job

Our service is undergoing dynamic and exciting service changes in order to improve access for children and young people to CAMHS. The service also aspires to promote patient centred and needs led journeys through the CAMHS service and is looking for professionals to join us to make this a positive experience. Easington CAMHS are looking for enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated CAMHS Clinicians to work as part of a fast paced, highly acclaimed multi-disciplinary team. We provide online, telephone and face-to-face evidence-based assessments and access to pathways for children & young people.
You will join the service at a time where a real difference can be made to children and young people's lives. You will be expected to have the necessary skills and experience to undertake comprehensive mental health assessments and interventions with children and families. Candidates should be skilled professionals with excellent interdisciplinary working skills and interested in contributing to the development of an innovative service.

- Current professional registration with appropriate body in healthcare or social work.
- Evidence of continuing professional development
- Post-graduate qualification in a relevant area (within agreed timescale)
- Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
- Depending on work area, recognised sign-off mentor (or equivalent) or must be achieved within agreed timescale.
