Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to recruit a motivated and experienced Team Secretary to join our children's community mental health team (York West CAMHS). The Team is based at Orca House in York. (Just off the outer ring road, close to the A64 and A1079)
You must have excellent organisational skills, have a flexible approach, be able to work on your own initiative and be a team player.
By applying for this position you would be joining a supportive team with a wide variety of skills. The trust encourages ongoing training and development of skills.
The role is Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm and is office based.
Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of the role will be to provide full administrative support to the clinical team and the medical secretary based within the team. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the necessity to maintain confidentiality at all times.
Applicants must have a good education, secretarial skills including audio typing, sound IT knowledge and experience, with competency in Microsoft Office packages being essential. Experience of working in a clinical area is desirable. Good team working skills and a willingness to provide administrative support in clinical meetings (training provided).
