There is an exciting opportunity to join adult learning disabilities services working at Kilton view day services
This vacancy is open to open to learning disability nurses
You will be required to be innovative, flexible and able to engage clients with complex needs. Strong team working principles are essential and you will network with a variety of people as well as work in partnership with a members of the multi-disciplinary team.
This is an opportunity to develop skills in a rewarding environment where you will get to practice a full range of nursing interventions, working as both part of a team and working towards being an autonomous practitioner.
Main duties of the job
Promotes and maintains safety, privacy and dignity of all patients in the delivery of patient centred care, recognising and respecting differences including spiritual and cultural beliefsResponsible for recognising the potential for or signs deteriorating patients including poor clinical practice, reporting all such concerns and taking all reasonable steps to protect the patient.
Responsible for ensuring the highest professional standards and attitudes towards the care of patients are maintained at all times and that care is delivered in accordance with evidence based practice by all members of the team. Patients have a profound and multiple learning disabilities and require support in all areas of care and treatment.Provides clinical advice on complex issues to other members of the clinical team and staff from other Trust services.
