Job summary

LD CAMHS North of Tees are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, well-motivated based in Thornaby, Stockton , forward thinking LD CAMHS Clinician to join our friendly, supportive multi-disciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

You will be part of a multi-disciplinary that provides specialist assessments and evidence based interventions for young people suffering from moderate to severe mental health needs alongside associated learning disabilities Furthermore, promoting quality of life and well-being.

You will work with a range of professionals from a variety of different agencies including social care, acute care and a range of community and voluntary sector partners.

You will have responsibility for your own caseload of children and young people and take responsibility as lead professional or care coordinator as appropriate, contributing to high-quality care, ensuring efficient and effective care that is supporting the culture of evidence based practice.

You will be professionally accountable for undertaking a range of clinical/therapeutic interventions in patients' homes and other community settings, following pathways of care

This role also facilitates others in the team to develop competence by providing leadership, day to day supervision, clinical advice and clinical supervision to members of the clinical team and students.
