Job summary
Durham & Darlington Street Triage team are looking for a dynamic , approachable and motivated individual to be their Team Manager . Its a exciting time ahead for the service , and as a clinical team manager you will be apart of a wider transformation alongside hands on clinical work when required.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will be key to maintaining service delivery and moving the service and team forward to meet the needs of the communities within the area.
The successful candidate will require good communication skills , and a passion for moving the street triage , familiar faces services forward .
Being able to work with partner agencies is key for this role as Street Triage work alongside our partners in the police force , being the point of contact , transformation of pathway working with neighbourhood police as well as control room set up.
Section 136 Co coordinator role within street triage is due to be embedded , therefore the clinical manager will need to be up to date with information , MHA , processes and documentation .
Alongside the exciting transformation work that is happening within urgent care services , the clinical team manager will be leading on street triage / familiar faces staff development , KPI's and operational management of staff within the service.

Essential
- Current professional registration with appropriate body in healthcare or social work.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- Certificate in teaching & assessing in clinical practice as appropriate to own profession.
- Clinical Supervisor.
- Recognised sign-off mentor (or equivalent).
- Post-graduate diploma in a relevant area.
- Leadership or management qualification or willingness to work towards. Qualification must be achieved within agreed timescale.
- Quality Improvement Systems for Leaders or willing to undertake within agreed timescale.
- Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
