An exciting opportunity has risen for Band 5 Mental Health Practitioner to join North Durham Dales Community Mental Health Team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual who is able to work with the wider MDT, voluntary sector and third sector organisations.
Wellbeing of colleagues and working collaboratively is essential as we see this as an important aspect to keeping our staff happy at work.
The team aim is to work in partnership with patients, carers and others utilising the Trust Combined Pathway to work towards a level of recovery as deemed by the individual.

The successful applicant will work with a caseload of patients offering evidence based psychological interventions, medication administration and monitoring, working closely with social workers to carry out assessments under the care act.
Although this is an autonomous role the post holder will receive full support via the daily MDT meetings, supervision, and team training. As well as an appraisal to support professional development.
Due to the nature of the role it is essential that applicants are able to travel independently across the locality and have access to a suitable vehicle for business purposes. If necessary, adjustments can be considered in accordance with the Equality Act 2010. A lease car scheme is in operation as well as other NHS staff benefits.

- Current professional registration with an approved professional body.
- Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
- or registered nurses: MIP, FLIP, ENB 998 Teaching & Assessing in Clinical Practice or City & Guilds 730 Teaching in Adult Education or willingness to work towards. Qualification must be achieved within agreed timescale
- Trained Clinical Supervisor (within agreed timescale).
- Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
