Job summary
We are looking to recruit a full time Receptionist to join our busy Adult Mental Health Reception Team based at Stewart House In Hartlepool However you must flexible and able to travel to and from other TEWV sites to provide support as required.
This is a very busy and dynamic work environment and as a Receptionist you will also have multiple responsibilities including greeting service users on arrival, managing phone calls, dealing with people who may be upset and distressed, managing records, building and ordering responsibilities, as well as utilising electronic systems. You must be calm, reassuring and always treat people with respect, dignity and kindness in this varied environment and display impeccable customer service skills.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly and supportive service. Previous Reception / Clerical experience and customer service is essential.
Main duties of the job
- Deals with telephone enquiries from service users, families and carers, forwarding to the appropriate member of staff or taking messages accurately and communicating these in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Greeting service users, families and carers arriving in reception and direct to appropriate waiting area or member of staff.
- Acts at all times in the best interest of patients and clients, recognising the potential vulnerability of all service users and acting in accordance with Trust procedures for Safeguarding Adults and Children.
