Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated, skilled and dedicated team manager to join the Darlington community services. The post holder will be at the forefront of developing the transformation model, putting place based care in the heart of the Darlington community. This post will be developing and managing the new Treatment and Intervention Service.

This is a busy multi- disciplinary team who work with people predominantly with an SMI. You will have a dedicated leadership team to sport you in your work, with a large team of skilled clinicians who put the patient at the heart of all they do.

You will be part of the Darlington Community MH services offer, delivering care to the local community, ensuring high standards of care are met and safe and effective care is delivered at all times.

Main duties of the job

This role requires a kind, compassionate and passionate individual and support will be offered to the successful candidate to further develop their operational skills should it be needed.

  • Evidence of Continuing Professional Development.
  • Certificate in teaching & assessing in clinical practice as appropriate to own profession
  • Clinical Supervisor

  • Quality Improvement Systems for Leaders or willing to undertake within agreed timescale.
  • Key skills in literacy, numeracy and ITQ level 2 (or equivalent)
