Job summary
The Hambleton and Richmondshire Crisis Resolution and Intensive Home Treatment Team are seeking a full time band 5 Crisis Clinican. Open to those with a relevant professional qualification required and appropriate current professional registration. The post holder will be part of a resilient, welcoming and professional team who work collaboratively with internal and external partners to meet the needs of those who are experiencing a crisis in their mental health needs.
Main duties of the job
The team takes a recovery orientated, formulation driven approach which values shared decision making.
The team will be based at North Moor House, Northallerton and operates over 24 hours, 7 day a week 12 hour shift working pattern.
The team are able to support newly qualified clinicians through the preceptorship programme.
Successful applicants will be a member of a multi-disciplinary team and there is ample opportunity to develop and enhance your existing clinical skills. You will receive regular supervision and there are good training opportunities.
As a member of the team you will provide a service to those individuals who present with a mental health crisis who may require a period of crisis intervention as an alternative to hospital admission. The team are also responsible for gatekeeping admissions to the acute admission ward as well as supporting bed management, including in reach to the wards.
