Job summary
The Trust Doctor post will be responsible for the day to day management of elective and emergency surgical patients. This includes patients on the Paediatric wards. They will be responsible to the registrars and consultants and will be expected to attend the surgical outpatient clinics, specialist clinics, theatre and ward rounds.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will provide emergency on call cover with the on call team for surgery based within the Surgical Decisions Unit at North Tees. The elective work is carried out on both the North Tees site and the Hartlepool site with most of the urgent and cancer lists being held on the North Tees site.
