The Maternity and Neonatal Voices partnership (MNVP) are an independently led group who work together to review and support local maternity and Neonatal services, listen to the voices of service users, co-produce the design and implementation of services and support the LMNS to provide quality assurance and surveillance across maternity services.

Main duties of the job

What is a MNVP?

An MNVP listens to the experiences of women, birthing people and families, and brings together service users, staff and other stakeholders to plan, review and improve maternity and neonatal care.

MNVPs ensure that service users voices are at the heart of decision-making in maternity and neonatal services by being embedded within the leadership of provider trusts and feeding into the Local Maternity and Neonatal System (LMNS).

This influences improvements in safety, quality, and experience of maternity and neonatal care.

Commitment

You would normally be expected to spend 3-4 days per month on MNVP work and will be remunerated at a rate of £150 per day(Paid as expenses)

As Lead for the NHS, you are independent from the Trust.

The role will be offered for a two-year period.
