Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to provide communication and engagement support for University Hospitals Tees - a group partnership between North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
By working together the two trusts aim to deliver better healthcare services and improve patient care across the North East of England.
The trusts remain statutory entities in their own right, while they work in close partnership across both clinical and non-clinical services.
The post holder will work across all hospital group sites supporting the communication and engagement teams at both trusts and the hospital group project team.
Main duties of the job
The design team play a vital role in developing, implementing and evaluating communication strategies and plans to support the successful delivery of the Group's strategic objectives and services. This post holder supports this team and will:
- Work under the guidance of the design communications manager to ensure the delivery of a range of designs for publications, patient information, social media, digital content and short filming projects, that will feature across multiple channels.
- The postholder will be able to establish positive working relationships quickly at all levels of the organisation and manage a busy workload, responding to conflicting priorities as required.
- The postholder will be based at James Cook University Hospital and the University Hospital of North Tees with the ability to work across all Group and external sites as needed.
- Contribute to supporting the development of effective communication throughout the organisation.
- Promote a positive image of the design and communications team and the wider Group at all times.
