Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Workforce Advisor to support a collaborative working project across both North Tees and Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. Our pathology services across the two Trusts will be working together as part of the Tees Valley Pathology Collaboration.

You will work closely with our senior managers within Pathology and HR colleagues involved in the programme.

Main duties of the job

The ability to quickly develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders is key to this role as you will be supporting colleagues through organisational change. You will need to be able to manage your own time well, prioritise tasks and have an eye for detail. Ideally you will have supported pieces of large scale project or change management work before or be able to effectively demonstrate how you would scale up previous organisational change programme experience. You will have experience of working with both unions and professional bodies.

NHS experience is beneficial although not essential, so too experience of working closely with both unions, professional bodies and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will ideally be qualified to CIPD Level 5 or working towards the qualification or possess demonstrable equivalent experience.

The post is a fixed term post and will be for a period of up to 12 months and is up to full time (37.5 hours).

The post holder will be required to travel across the two Trusts for attendance at discussions, formal meetings and one-to-one sessions. We also support our colleagues to be able to work from home at points and will provide the appropriate IT equipment to be able to do so.

The post holder can choose to be based at either of the two Trusts. This can be explored further at interview.

About us

At North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust our main priority is, and always will be, to provide safe and high quality care to our patients every day; the kind of care we would want for ourselves and our loved ones. We want our organisation to be the best place to work with the right staff, in the right roles, at the right time, to ensure we deliver exceptional patient care and experience.

We will support staff through providing an inclusive and supportive workplace with health and well-being initiatives, staff benefits and opportunities for personal and professional development. Staff recognition is very important to us; as well as performance reviews and appraisals, we recognise staff through Star and Team of the month, colleague recognition - a note of thanks, Managers Awards, Shining Stars and Service Awards.

We recruit for values and "Together we are North Tees & Hartlepool"
