Job summary
The role will support the Deputy General Manager in the day to day operational management of the services Trust wide; providing visible site leadership alongside the Respiratory Nurse Consultant and Specialty Clinical Leads. The post will support the Deputy General Manager to develop and monitor the service strategies. The role will support the formulation of the annual service plan, implanting this plan and monitoring progress.
Main duties of the job
Contribute to the formulation and implementation of service delivery plans, patient pathways, annual business plan and activity and income plans to ensure quality services are developed and maintained.
Work with the senior management team to produce, revise and update policies and procedures to establish and maintain high standards of working practice.
Undertake a range of service improvement projects and required delegated duties. This will include the development of Cost Improvement Progammes schemes to ensure efficiencies but also supporting the patient flow on each site with the management team.
Deputise for the Deputy General Manager in any aspects relating to the service for both the emergency pathways and the elective/outpatient pathways.
