Job summary
We are recruiting a dynamic and credible Senior Physiotherapist or an Occupational Therapist within our Therapy and discharge team at the QEQM site.
This exciting position offers the opportunity for the successful candidate to grow their clinical experience and leadership within this speciality and have the opportunity to develop themselves in line with their personal development plan. The post holder will work within a team of Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, assistant practitioners and discharge managers as well as being part of the wider multidisciplinary team. The post holder will have the opportunity to provide therapy intervention in a fast paced environment managing complex discharge planning.
Main duties of the job
To support the clinical delivery and leadership of therapy services in The Therapy and Discharge Team at the QEQM.
o To provide clinical expertise, advice and support to the multi-disciplinary team.
o To support the development of and maintain communication networks in order to provide a high quality and efficient service.
o To support and participate in the development of clinical standards and protocols, evidence-based practice, audit, research, clinical and non-clinical risk management in order to maintain the clinical governance of the service and Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy delivery.
o Participation and involvement in the emergency respiratory on-call physiotherapy service (for physiotherapists) and 7 day working for both Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy.
