  • The Patient Service Centre are recruiting and would like to invite you to our Recruitment Event on Saturday 1st February at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital!
  • Multiple sessions will be running throughout the day, please follow the application process and you will be contacted to book into one of our sessions running throughout the day.
  • One the day there will a presentation on the work we do in the Patient Service Centre, followed by interviews and an assessment. You have a chance of leaving with a job offer!
  • The Outpatient Service Team is a hard-working Team who are highly motivated and effective, as a large Trust we have Services at 6 of the sites and we provide key services within the patient pathway for Outpatient and in-patient activity. We work hard as a Team to continually ensure that patient care is at the forefront of our service.   • This role involves registering the GP referrals as they come in from the GP, Booking the first appointment with the patient speaking to patients with a positive, friendly, helpful attitude, making the first point of contact an excellent patient experience ready for when they attend for their Hospital Outpatients appointment.
  • Recording of accurate and timely data is a vital part of this role and will support the delivery of National and Trust targets and also ensure appropriate remuneration of work undertaken in the Outpatient Department. Answering calls in a timely manner whilst remaining professional and supportive to the nature of the call, trying our best to ensure we can answer all patient queries, this could be from cancelling an appointment or rescheduling an appointment. Currently we have a variety of appointments from Face to Face attending in person at the hospital. The post holder will be required to work across many IT systems to complete tasks.
