Job summary
You will be joining a team of 9 consultants, 7 Nurse specialists (sleep, lung cancer, NIV), in-patient Respiratory practitioner team, fully equipped Respiratory Physiology department and a dynamic, rapidly evolving department, reconfiguring to allow targeted sub-specialty work

- oMBBS or equivalent
- oMinimum of 6 months SHO or SPR level experience in respiratory medicine
- GMC

- oMRCP PACES or equivalent
- Higher degree e.g. MD

Skills and experience

- Minimum of 6 months SHO or SPR level experience in respiratory medicine
- Experience in pleural procedures
- Some experience in thoracic ultrasound
- Possesses range of clinical knowledge, skills & information technology expertise.
- Minimum of English Level 2 (GCSE grade C or equivalent), ILETS, or graduate of a UK Medical School

- Competence in Thoracic US and pleural procedures
- Competence in lung function tests interpretation
- Experience in NIV care & bronchoscopy
- Skills in clinical audit and/or research.
