Infection Prevention and Control Fit Tester/Administrator

Job summary
The Infection Prevention and Control Team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust are looking to recruit an enthusiastic person to provide a fit testing service for Respiratory Protective Equipment (RPE) including FFP3 masks across the Trust.
We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and suitably experienced individual. The ideal candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and must be able to work autonomously as well as within a team.
The candidate must be able to travel/drive across all sites as required.
Main duties of the job
- Conduct face fit tests on Trust staff and non-Trust staff required to wear FFP3 masks
- Being clear on the face fit testing process and being able to describe this to staff
- Directing the member of staff through the face fit exercises
- Where no fit is achieved, advising staff on alternatives and how to access them
- Data entry and administration tasks as required
- Maintaining effective infection prevention and control standards at all times
