Job summary
CCU is looking for a Deputy Ward Manager we are an acute 12 bedded unit, which looks after patients with a variety of cardiac problems.
We are seeking someone preferably with previous experience within the speciality.
To provide effective patient care whilst working as a member of the nursing team across East Kent Hospitals NHS Trust. To ensure the maintenance of high standards of patient care in response to service needs.
Main duties of the job
To maintain a calm and controlled environment whilst ensuring the demands of the Ward are met and a smooth running of the Ward is maintained.
To be flexible and controlled and competent enough to deal with the demands of an ever-changing shift whilst ensuring both patients and staff are looked after as necessary.
Supporting Ward Manager where and when needed.
