Job summary
This is an opportunity to join the Employee Relations Advice Line Team at EKHUFT. We are advertising for a full-time, Employee Relations Officer, normal working hours are Monday to Friday, start and finish times can be agreed on appointment. The post will be based at either the William Harvey Hospital. Some travel across Trust sites may be necessary to cover the role but this will be infrequent.
You will be part of a friendly team providing administrative support and dealing with calls made to the Employee Relations Advice Line. The calls will deal with a range of employee relations issues including pay queries, terms and conditions, policy and procedure advice on non-complex cases addressing matters such as poor performance, sickness absence, disciplinary and grievance matters and taking notes at meetings.
This is a real opportunity for an enthusiastic person to get involved in employee relations work. Some experience of human resources would be beneficial although this is not essential as on the job training will be provided.
Main duties of the job
To provide comprehensive administrative support to the Employee Relations Team and provide an advisory service to managers and employees to answer queries relating to employee relations and terms and conditions, escalating matters as appropriate.
