Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior MRI Radiographer to work in a team of MRI Radiographers at Kent and Canterbury MRI Department.
The MRI departments are very busy supporting a wide range of clinical specialities including basic Cardiac MRI imaging. The department currently houses Siemens 1.5T Aera, Siemens 3T Skyra scanner and a mobile unit from an external service provider based at the hospital. The MRI service at East Kent Hospitals extends to our Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother Hospital where we have 1.5T Philips Ambition XT, providing 7 days services.
This is very exciting opportunity to be involved in the Radiology improvement projects and help install and establish new services. The MRI service is open from 08:00 to 20:00 Hours, 7 days a week with on-call commitments to support emergency services across the trust.
Main duties of the job
Our satellites at Buckland Hospital, Dover and Royal Victoria Hospital, Folkestone, provide a variety of outpatient, diagnostic and Minor Injury services, alongside a range of services throughout the local area.
Our static MRI services are based at William Harvey Hospital, Kent and Canterbury Hospital and The Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother hospital in Margate. We also provide MRI services to local community using mobile scanners across the satellite sites including Estuary View Medical Centre. Please refer to the Job descriptions for details.
