Job summary
Dermatology Department in East Kent is the only training unit in whole of Kent and Medway for dermatology training .We are based in Canterbury but run outpatient services in Ashford, Margate and Dover with sub specialist clinics including paediatrics, patch testing , vulval , penile clinic , biologics , skin surgery and Mohs service . The well established Department is run by a team of Consultants , speciality doctors, specialist nurses , registrars , supportive managers and dedicated secretaries

Main duties of the job
This is a Clinical Fellow Dermatology post offered on a fixed term contract starting at the beginning of August, initially for 12 months. The post holder will work equivalent to a first year registrar in Dermatology .You will also be expected to become an integral member of the whole Dermatology Team. The job plan will consist of regular Dermatology routine and 2ww clinics, elective day surgery theatre lists in Canterbury. It is expected that; the holder of this post will take a keen interest in research and audit . You will work with the other Registrars to provide Middle Grade cover. The post holder will take part in the Middle Grade on-call rota..
