East Kent Hospital University Foundation Trust are now recruiting Band 2 Healthcare Support Worker for the William Harvey Hospital, Ashford.

If successful, you will be invited to an Open day at the William Harvey Hospital on 20th May 2023.

The majority of positions are likely to be within our Surgical, Medical and Admission wards as well as the Emergency Department, we arenot seeking out-patient staff currently. Full-time and part-time hours (minimum 24 hours per week) are available but nursing is carried out 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year, so although flexible working is possible applicants are asked to be realistic with their expectations.

Please note that we are unable to provide Sponsorship for our Healthcare Assistant and Support Worker roles.

Main duties of the job

In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic all members of the nursing team are likely to come into contact with patients who are symptomatic with the virus, full training on the use of the necessary Personal Protective Equipment will be provided.
