Clinical Lead Therapist - Vascular and Amputee Services

Job summary

Our expanding Vascular Service is looking for a dynamic, forward thinking therapist to drive forward this developing service covering both In- and Out patient care. Now covering all of East Kent and Medway for Inpatient Vascular Services this busy team will be seeing these patients through their journey from preoperative assessment to out patient follow up.

The Clinical Lead will ensure the highest standards of therapy input to this client group and oversee teaching, pathways, research opportunities as well as carry out high quality hands on assessment and treatment to this complex client group.

Main duties of the job

Provide clear leadership to the vascular team both clinically and non clinically.

Represent the Therapy team at any operational vascular meetings and be involved in service development, overseeing quality, risk and governance as well as promoting research opportunities.

Provide highly skilled specialist support and guidance to the vascular team , advising and helping with complex patients as required.

Oversee a team of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and support workers working across in-patients and out-patients ensuring optimal standards of care are provided to vascular patients
