Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 7 Children's nurse to join the specialist nursing team as a Children's Allergy Clinical Nurse Specialist.

We are looking for a dynamic, experienced individual with excellent communication and leadership skills to join our existing paediatric allergy nurses.

Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic children's nurse with a particular interest in the care and management of children with allergies. The post holder will be well organised and committed to working as a member of a multidisciplinary team delivering holistic care, support and education to children and their families in the outpatient, daycare, inpatient and ED setting.

About us

The post holder will deliver clinical allergy services to children and their families, in conjunction with a Paediatric Consultant who has a special interest in allergy. They will manage a caseload of patients, supporting consultant led clinics, and delivering nurse led clinics whilst ensuring the delivery of a high quality, safe allergy services. They will also provide support, education and training for staff.
