Job summary
Epsom and St Helier hospitals are looking for a Diabetes and Endocrinology Consultant to join the department. The post holder will provide specialist care to patients, we are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and patient care focused doctor. Working within the multidisciplinary team, the post holder will play a key role, for both patients and health care professionals. The post will provide broad exposure in general medicine, diabetes and endocrinology. The post holder will need to demonstrate safe use of equipment and efficiency in using the resources available. Main duties of the job
This is a Consultant post in Diabetes, Endocrinology and General Medicine. The post is full time including 1 PA for General Medicine on- call. A key role for the appointee will be to lead the provision of excellent care for people with diabetes in hospital by delivering daily in-patient diabetes reviews and working closely with the Diabetes Inpatient Specialist nurses and the Podiatry team.
