Job summary
The post holder is/will:
Responsible for the operational management of lift maintenance services for the Trust and for management of the Estate, including staff management.
Has managerial responsibility for liaison with the Capital Projects Teams through meetings,reviewing design data and site visits to ensure that the Trust can deliver its obligations to the appropriate standards and specifications.
Provides expert specialist and professional lifts expertise to the Trust, other estates staff, directors, and senior management of the organisation including external agencies.
Main duties of the job
- Ensuring the design and build installation and services comply in accordance with,legislation, statutory, HTM requirements and service requirements.
- Active member of the management team. Representing the department commercially and technically at meetings and when required.
- Commercial and Quality Management of the operational element of the Estate, including management of Performance Monitoring systems to ensure Compliance.
- The cost effective delivery of a Planned Preventative Maintenance Service in line with therequirements of the PPM Schedules.
- To be on call or available for emergencies on a rota basis.
- Responsibility for the Management, Implementation and monitoring of the Permit to Work System.
- Ensure plant is installed and maintained to ensure compliance with our obligations and operated to its optimum efficiency.
