Additionally, you'll join a wider team of over 25 paediatric specialist nurses, community children's nurses, and safeguarding specialists--opening doors to broaden your expertise across various paediatric disciplines.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will;
- provide evidenced based, high quality assessment and care to children and their families attending the Emergency Department
- supervise, support and educate other team members, including nursing and medical students
- develop and maintain advanced Emergency Nursing skills
- advise on health promotion and prevention of illness/injury
- advocate for children and families
- ensure safe and effective clinical practice and enhance patient experience.
- ensure the promotion and implementation of trust policies and the effective delivery of organisational objectives
