Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist Assistant

Job summary

Member of the musculoskeletal physiotherapy outpatient team. You will be working predominantly with patients who have been referred by GP's, orthopaedic and pain management consultants.

  • To assist in the provision of group based therapy with or as directed by the qualified therapist.
  • To provide 1:1 treatment for patients with musculoskeletal conditions under the guidance of the physiotherapist.
  • To carry out a range of other duties including administration and assist with clinical audit and patient satisfaction audit.
  • Ensure clinical equipment is clean, serviced regularly and well maintained with regular departmental records kept.
  • Ensure stock levels are maintained and facilitate the ordering of equipment as required.
  • Ensure the department is well presented and tidy.
