Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our experienced and established team of Clinical Psychologists within our multidisciplinary Community CAMHS Team.

You must be a qualified and registered Clinical Psychologist and have experience working with children and young people, preferably within a community CAMHS service.

Weston-super-Mare and Clevedon are thriving seaside towns within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Taunton, with convenient access to the M5 motorway. Weston-super-Mare is a growing, multicultural area offering numerous amenities, beautiful coastline, and the Mendip Hills. Main duties of the job

The post holder will offer consultation, assessment, and treatment to young people with mental and emotional health difficulties, alongside their families. The team includes a senior psychologist who will support your professional development, as well as other professionals with a variety of skills and knowledge from diverse backgrounds. You should be passionate about working within a multi-professional team to meet the needs of young people.

  • Provide a psychology service to the designated team, including assessment and therapy for individuals and groups as appropriate.
  • Offer specialist consultancy to multidisciplinary teams and other agencies providing care for the client group.
  • Participate in generic team duties as agreed by the operational manager and Psychology Lead, according to the needs of the service.
