Job summary
A full-time job opportunity has become available for a permanent contract within the South Gloucestershire area of the BNSSG Wide Complex Emotional Needs (CEN) Team. We are a co-produced team who work within the BNSSG area and our main aim is to improve the quality of lives of service users who experience mental health difficulties associated with Complex Emotional Needs (also known as personality disorder).
We are looking for a qualified and registered healthcare professional or a qualified clinical associate psychologist to join our team to deliver care, treatment and service improvements for people seeking support for Complex Emotional Needs. This role supports the Recovery Teams in delivering quality relational work for this client group and includes running Group Interventions within the Structured Clinical Management Treatment programme.
We require a committed, compassionate, proactive and enthusiastic individual, with previously acquired skills and knowledge in working alongside people with difficulties associated with Complex Emotional Needs.
We want our staff team to develop their practice and skills by learning and growing in the BNSSG Wide CEN Service. Therefore, our team has regular reflective practice, CPD slots and opportunities to pursue further training in evidence based interventions.
Main duties of the job
Deliver Structured Clinical Management (SCM) to a caseload of up to 10 service users under the Recovery Teams.
Co-facilitate the Problem Solving Group (PSG) with an aim to become Lead facilitator.
Work alongside the Senior Practitioner in the Complex Emotional Needs Team to increase access to evidence based interventions, monitor and improve the quality of relational care provided.
Carry out post-group reviews and support thoughtful discharge planning.
Take part in service improvement and development in the area of Complex Emotional Needs for South Gloucestershire.
Attend and positively engage with BNSSG Wide CEN team meetings, line management, clinical supervisions, and reflective practice and CPD meetings.
Co-deliver regular training as part of the BNSSG Wide CEN Service.
Deliver DBT or MBT or be considered for training in either if required.
