Main duties of the job
The post holder will share Secure Services corporate responsibility in relation to financial duties; policies for clinical and organisational risk management; strategies for modernisation, innovation and sustainability; obligations under Health & Safety and Fire Safety;
Secure Services works in close partnership with the South West Provider Collaborative, to deliver excellent clinical care across the region.

The Service Manager will contribute to the achievement of Trust and locality objectives by leading effective operational management for agreed service area of responsibility.
They will co-ordinate and manage the work across ten in-patient wards (including 7 MSU, 3 LSU with specialist LDA and women's services) and a vibrant portfolio of therapies. The post will sit as part of the Senior Management Team, alongside the Head of Community Forensic Services, the Operations Manager, Clinical Lead, Head of Psychological Therapies and Locality Medical Lead.
The post holder will support the clinical areas to be accountable for delivering excellent clinical care, achieving key performance indicators, supporting staff development and delivering financial sustainability.
