Job summary

A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced cashier/receptionist to join our friendly reception team, as the primary cashier on site at the Long Fox Unit in Weston-Super-Mare.

Our receptions are staffed between 09.00 - 17.00 Monday to Friday, and we are looking for a candidate with a cashiering focus to provide services from 09:00-13:00 Monday-Friday.

The role holder will also provide cover for the reception, acting as a central point of contact for our North Somerset teams.

Main duties of the job

o Cashiering, including petty cash services, patient account administration and property safekeeping.o First point of contact for phone calls into the location, transferring calls, taking accurate messages and escalating as appropriate.o Meeting and greeting patients and visitors.o Advising clinicians when their patients have arrived.o Room bookings.o Opening and closing the buildings.o Making sure the clinic rooms have everything they need.o Sorting the post.o Signing for deliveries.o Reporting building defects.
