Job summary
The East and Central Bristol CAMHS Team is located within a community settlement in a vibrant and culturally diverse area of Central Bristol. Our team is made up of Family Therapy, Nursing, Psychology, Social Work, Systemic Practitioners, Psychotherapists and Psychiatrists. We are a CYP-IAPT service currently developing the i-Thrive framework.
We are looking to recruit an experienced Clinical Psychologist to provide a specialist clinical psychology assessment/treatment and consultation service to children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties and their families who are referred to CAMHS. To provide clinical skills in a particular area of expertise such as neurodevelopmental disorders including ASC and ADHD, CBT, Trauma or Eating Disorders.
Main duties of the job
To use specialist psychological knowledge and skills to contribute to the more effective management of patients by the various teams in the area and where appropriate outside of the area.
The post holder will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team to assess and treat children and young people referred into our service. In addition to offering Specialist Psychological interventions, clinical supervision and leadership in a mutually identified area they will hold a caseload within our assessment and treatment pathway.
They willprovide clinical skills in a particular area of expertise such as neurodevelopmental disorders including ASC and ADHD, CBT, Trauma or Eating Disorders.
