Job summary

As an IT Change Manager (Business Analyst) your role will be to analyse specific parts of the Trusts business processes and existing systems with a view to making continuous improvement. This will involve studying a variety of business requirements, processes and the Trusts existing technological systems.

The IT Change Manager (Business Analyst) will play a key part in establishing credible relationships with Clinical, Digital, Business Intelligence and PMO colleagues. Developing a deep understanding of key areas of the business (including partners), organising and facilitating design workshops that will be essential for requirements gathering and engagement activities on a number of high-profile projects/activities that will underpin the delivery of the Digital Strategy.

We are hybrid working, this role will require you to travel to trust sites and engage with clinical and operational colleagues and therefore the ability to travel is necessary to build strong working relationships.

Main duties of the job

You will need to understand the end-to-end implementation of information technology changes, to analyse, document and propose solutions for varied and potentially complex business areas, using a variety of business analysis skills and techniques.

This role will best suit an organised individual with a "can do" attitude andexcellent problem solving skills with good attention to detail. It is essential that the candidate has good negotiating skills, is a great listener and is skilled at building positive relationships and dealing with any challenges that could arise.

Keep abreast of new and emerging technologies and standards to support innovative and creative delivery of business objectives.

  • Business Analysis professional certification, for example - BCS International Diploma in Business Analysis

Experience and Knowledge

  • Demonstrable experience of gathering information using a variety of methods, including interviews; reviewing existing documentation; work flow observation;
  • Experience of influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organisation;
  • Demonstrable experience of presenting changes back into the operational environment and to engage and train managers and users in the new process
  • Significant experience communicating with people, through the production of newsletters, by phone, e-mail, face to face and presenting to a group
  • Demonstrable experience of producing documentation for new and existing organisational processes;
