Are you an experienced, motivated and energetic mental health professional? A fantastic opportunity has arisen as a Band 7 Senior Practitioner within the South Bristol Assessment and Recovery Team.
The South Bristol Assessment and Recovery Team is the backbone of Mental Health services within the South Bristol Region. We offer a wide range of support to individuals that are in need of mental health support. The Assessment and Recovery team is a large, welcoming multidiscipline team made up of skilled and confident professionals, delivering high quality care to those who use the service. The team provides both assessment and intervention, with a range of therapies delivered.
We are looking to recruit a Senior Practitioner to join our established, supportive and high performing leadership team.
Main duties of the job
As Senior Practitioner you will ensure all aspects of the team's functioning are well lead with overall responsibility for managing the team caseload and referrals into the service.
You will also provide formal supervision and informal day to day guidance for team members, and will work alongside side other senior practitioners to clinically lead the team.
You will support Team manager and senior practitioners in their role of promoting high quality care delivery, along with many other aspects of managing team and client needs whilst representing AWP values. You will also require to carry a small number of case with complex needs.
Applicants will be expected to demonstrate a high level of decision making skills and to be able to work independently. Applicants will also need to be proficient with the use of IT systems for both data and documentation purposes.
