The successful candidate will play an important role in the considerable growth of apprenticeship provision in our trust as we strive to support skills development across a diverse multidisciplinary workforce.
Main duties of the job
Maintaining and updating Apprenticeship management systems for audit and reporting purposes. (Training will be provided).
Provide administrative support to the L&D Manager and Apprenticeship Manager & Apprenticeship Co-Ordinator, which include organising quality assurance meetings and minute taking.
Act as a liaison and contact point for the apprenticeship team. Responding to general enquiries coming in to the office including, telephone, face to face, and email, taking & passing on messages as required.
To help in the recruitment process for new-to-role apprentices, liaising with applicants & providers appropriately and in a timely manner.
Maintain an accurate and comprehensible filing system (paper and electronic).
Co-ordinate statistical data and general information as required.
Maintain up-to-date on line and paper diaries as required.
Set up meetings and provide support to book rooms, collate papers.
To take minutes (or notes) and produce and disseminate as appropriate.

- NVQ Level 4 Business Administration / ECDL
Experience and Knowledge

- Knowledge of the national apprenticeship reforms including an understanding of the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Experience within an apprenticeship specific administration role
- Experience of working as part of an administrative team
- General administrative knowledge & skills, including filing (online and paper), working with systems, taking clear messages, making appointments
- Experience of working in a busy team, and an ability to use initiative at times of pressure.
