Job summary

We are looking for a motivated Clinical Psychologist to join our East and Central CAMHS locality team based at Barton Hill Settlement.

You will have be qualified and registered as a Clinical Psychologist. You will also have experience of working with children and young people, preferably within a community CAMHS service.

This is a fixed-term post for 6 months to cover maternity leave.

Main duties of the job

We are a supportive, experienced and creative multi-disciplinary team. We offer individual, family and group interventions which may be time limited or longer term therapies according to need. You will have the opportunity to develop skills assessing children, young people and families and ensuring they receive evidence based and effective interventions in a timely manner.

You will also have the opportunity to contribute to our specialist clinics such as the Eating Disorder, Autism assessment, Specialist Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. Also to provide clinical supervision and contribute to psychology trainees. You will receive regular clinical and management supervision and access to continued professional development.

  • Doctoral clinical Psychology qualification or equivalent
  • Maintenance of appropriate professional registration (HCPC)

Experience

  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary team and ability to contribute to team meetings and processes.

Desirable

  • Experience of providing specialist assessments/interventions eg Autism assessments (ADOS), Eating Disorders or specialist CBT
