Job summary
If you interested in working with older adults with functional mental health conditions on the North Somerset coast near lovely beaches and not too far from the thriving city of Bristol. Then consider this exciting band 5 opportunity working with a very caring and compassionate team. Relocation packages are available.
You would be working as part of a care team to deliver evidence-based interventions to older adult service users with mental health problems.
To develop and practice, working alongside registered clinicians, a set of therapeutic care skills, making a significant contribution to service users' physical, psychological, emotional and social wellbeing.
To ensure service users and their relatives receive care that prioritises safety, effectiveness, partnership and hope.
To promote and champion core care values by supporting junior staff, temporary and newly-appointed Healthcare Support Workers.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Band 5 Registered Nurses to join an experienced team here at Cove Ward in Weston Super Mare.
This application is open to RMN's and RGN's with suitable experience.AWP is committed to the development ofRegistered General Nurses and we would welcome suitable applicants.
Cove Ward is a 10 bed ward which is a unit for older people with mental health problems who may have physical frailties and we work alongside an intensive support team who are based on site and also with our Later Life community teams who are based in Clevedon. We have a very good working relationship with both of these to optimise the service user's care pathway. We have an established culture of inter team working which offers people who work on the site diverse experience and learning opportunities.
The candidates must be innovative, dynamic and enthusiastic to be a part of a team who are looking to improve the standards of care we are offering to the service users.
