We are looking for a Nurse ready to work at a Band 6 level and with a passion for providing a standard of care that can really change young people's lives.
- The Unit is in a position through the South West Provider Collaborative to offer further training of which could include; DBT for Adolescents, Non-Violent Resistance, and Positive Behavioural Support, providing valuable transferable skills.
- We can offer support in gaining clinical and management experience that looks to future career development, with training programmes delivered within AWP.
- You will work in a highly supportive environment.
- You will have a thorough induction into the running and life of the Unit with input into working with young people.
Main duties of the job
Supporting young people with severe and complex Mental Health difficulties through individual, group, and family settings.
Taking on the role of a clinical lead within the Unit to ensure the highest standard of care for young people.
You will oversee more junior members of the Nursing Team and assist in the maintenance and development of clinical standards, as well as .
You will work closely with the Unit MDT and support the Ward Manager in the effective running of the Unit.
