Job summary
An opportunity has arisen to join the IAPT (NHS Talking Therapies) team in Swindon as Supervision lead. This role will involve delivering supervision to senior staff as well as having an oversight of the supervision provision within the service and providing supervision of supervision for PWP and HI supervisors.

Main duties of the job
- Offer regular CBT based Clinical supervision (both individual and group) to peers, trainees (PWP & HI), and qualified staff.
- Provide relevant CPD to the team.
- Offer a highly specialist and entirely autonomous systematic CBT therapy service to the stepped care IAPT services.
- Undertake regular teaching, as appropriate, in psychological approaches to healthcare to trainees and team members.
- Plan and implement service developments regarding specialist areas of skill linked to service priorities in collaboration with the Clinical Lead (e.g. collaborating with colleagues in developing a strategy for the development of CBT in designated area).
- Provide an advanced and specialist assessment and treatment role in the sectors, using relevant CPD qualifications for clients presenting with high levels of distress/emotion/behavioural disturbance.
