Job summary
A great opportunity has been created for a passionate and creative regulation and standards lead. You will be part of a small team making significant changes across the Trust. You will Lead on the Trust's CQUIN delivery working with expert leads to ensure overarching quality improvement on behalf of the Head of Regulation and Standards.
You will support the Head of Regulation and Standards to ensure that the Trust maintains its excellent relationship with the CQC and ICBs.
You will help lead on the quality governance structure in the Trust by providing support, advice and guidance on areas of governance and improvement.
This is a Trust-wide role where your experience, authentic leadership and motivational style will make huge differences to the experience of service users, carers and staff.
We provide a high level of on-the-job support and blended home working where appropriate.
Main duties of the job
Work under the direction of the Head of Regulation and Standards to support the Corporate, Divisional and Locality Teams to provide expert advice on compliance issues including the management of the Trust's CQC registration.
To support the Head of Regulation and Standards to ensure leadership of the compliance with national, local and Trust quality requirements including the overall management of both the yearly CQUIN and quality schedule requirements.
To support the Head of Regulation and Standards to ensure that the Trust continues to develop excellent quality governance processes that integrate quality information providing a 'golden thread' of quality information through the organisation.
To support the Head of Regulation and Standards to lead the yearly organisational requirements including the overall collation of information and the end production of the Trust's Quality Account including relevant information for the Trust's Business Plan

Job Purpose

To support the Head of Regulation and Standards with delivery of initiatives to monitor and ensure compliance with all regulatory and standards activity.
CQC Registration

- Educated to degree level with further relevant specialist professional qualifications or equivalent experience
- Evidence of ongoing, relevant professional development
- Understanding of CQUIN guidance and management
- knowledge of policies, statutory regulations and guidance relating to CQC compliance.
- Experience of presenting complex data to a range of audiences in a variety of formats (e.g. conversations, presentations, reports) care regulatory standards and compliance.
- Experience of healthcare regulatory standards and compliance.
- Excellent written and verbal communication/presentational skills.
- Ability to travel Trust wide/ access to transport or Car owner with current driving licence
