The post is part of a comprehensive and specialist Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service within AWP with close links to the other Bristol, South Gloucestershire and North Somerset CAMHS teams. This is an exciting time to join a rapidly changing service, adapting to meet the mental health needs of children and young people in East and Central Bristol. Main duties of the job
The Bristol East Central Community CAMHS service is committed to continuous improvement and providing therapeutic interventions to children, young people and families, which are accessible, flexible and responsive.
The successful candidate will lead a stimulating and supportive multi-disciplinary child and adolescent mental health team, working with children, adolescents and their families with complex mental health needs and eating disorders. AWP is a forward thinking and inclusive Mental Health Trust with a strong commitment to clinical supervision and professional development within CAMHS. AWP CAMHS has developed a rolling programme of comprehensive in house training incorporating the core CAMHS competencies framework that is open to all staff.
