Job summary

Applications are invited from suitably qualified staff for the above vacancy in the South Wiltshire Community Mental Health Team (SARUM CMHT)/ Wiltshire Psychological Therapies Service. This post has become recently vacant, due to the promotion of the previous post holder.

Main duties of the job
We are an enthusiastic and innovative team who value the input & contribution of all our team members & strive to offer the best service possible to service users. We offer evidence-based interventions and are developing our pathway to work with individuals with psychosis & complex emotional needs (and their families). We aim to offer a wide range of psychological therapies including CBT, EMDR, ACT, DBT, CAT, Integrative, Schema focused, Mindfulness, and Solution focused ways of working, in both group & individual contexts.
We are looking for someone with the desire to develop their clinical skills to their full potential and would support this with regular supervision and line management from a senior clinical psychologist or above, CPD and training.
We are looking for a compassionate, thoughtful and enthusiastic practitioner psychologist to join our friendly, close-knit team. We would welcome a practitioner who can demonstrate an interest in working with service users with severe and enduring mental health difficulties and a commitment to improving their wellbeing through direct clinical interventions and, or contributions to psychologically-informed care plans. We would particularly welcome someone with an interest in psychosis or developing this.

The SARUM-CMHT is a multi-disciplinary secondary care team specialising in delivering high quality interventions to adults of working age living across South Wiltshire. We are based in Salisbury but occasionally provide clinical services to other areas of Wiltshire.
