This post is an exciting opportunity to be part of the team supporting an ambitious programme of Improvement across the trust. The Patient First approach has strong commitment from the Trust Board and Executive leadership and is a key part of delivering on our strategic objectives for the next 5 years. Our award-winning Patient First work supports teams make change and meaningful improvement and is recognised at a national level.
To be successful you will need to show subject-matter expertise in improvement and demonstrate an ability to engage and influence staff from multiple professions and at all levels. You should have a 'can do' attitude, lots of energy and a clear vision for how to identify improvement opportunities and support teams to bring these to life. You will be proactive and able to work independently and as part of a team, bringing forwards ideas and solutions to help drive improvements across the trust.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Improvement team as one of a small team of Patient First Practitioners. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual who is an experienced improvement professional; dedicated, keen to learn and be involved in a highly ambitious initiative. To be successful you will need to be driven and resourceful with lots of energy and able to apply high-level skills and detailed knowledge of improvement approaches in a practical context. The Patient First Practitioner role is a fundamental to the success of the team, the team will work closely together covering the following Improvement & Continuous Improvement workstreams.
