Band 4 Research and Finance Administrator - HIV, Immunology, Gastro and Hepatology (HIGH) - Fixed Term for 2 years, secondment also considered.

We are advertising for an organised, enthusiastic and friendly administrator to join the HIV, Immunology, Gastroenterology and Hepatology (HIGH) Research team.
The post will be part of a high-performing research team and will provide administrative, financial and invoice management support.
The successful candidate will be proactive, organised and will enjoy being part of a team that are striving to improve patient care through high quality research.
This role will offer an opportunity to develop administrative and finance skills through supported, hands on experience but also ongoing training in finance management and research processes.
Main duties of the job
Whilst a previous financial role is not essential, the post-holder must be competent in managing databases, excel spreadsheets and use financial invoicing systems to ensure accurate and timely payments. Training and support will be provided.
We are looking for someone with experienced administrative skills to support the research delivery teams and liaise with external organisations. Effective written and interpersonal communication is essential due to the nature of the role.
