Consent Project Manager (Band 7)

This is a fantastic opportunity for a project manager to take on the lead in the implementation of a new digital consent system. This is an excellent opportunity to project manage a transformation project providing real benefits for our patients and clinicians. This post will sit within the Quality Governance Medical Programme team.

The role involves working with a variety of stakeholders to deliver the project successfully, including clinical, operational, technical, and external system suppliers to target sustainable best practice process implementation.

Main duties of the job

This role will be responsible for supporting the development, co-ordination and delivery of the consent programme of work. The Project Manager will work with the programme manager and multiple stakeholders across the Trust to support work-stream leads to define best practice process and recommend a digital solution as part of the delivery plan.

The post holder will work as part of a dynamic team and will be expected to deliver an effective, high quality and well-coordinated project management approach. The role must advocate a system approach, consistency across all partner organisations and support the development of a continuous improvement platform for Quality related business processes. The project management role will be pivotal in ensuring improvements to improving quality of patient care at North Bristol Trust and underpinning our ambition to be rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.

  • Lead on coordinating Trust-wide governance infrastructure and processes for specific work-streams.
  • Project manage the development of the deliverables to inform the development of a Trust-wide plan.
  • Role model the use of best practice tools including the adoption and spread of evidence informed practice and transformational change
  • Support the facilitation of Trust-wide discussions.
  • Provide additional capacity into individual priority work-streams as required.
