Job summary
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious and motivated Band 3 Healthcare Support Worker to join the Vascular Access Service team.
In this role you will be involved in the day-to-day delivery of the service whilst working closely with the Vascular Access Practitioners. The role is varied, being both clinical and administrative.
This is a unique and exciting opportunity to join an expanding service whilst continuing to learn and develop new skills and knowledge.

Main duties of the job
- Assist the vascular access practitioner in the placement of various lines across the trust
- Undertake pre and post procedural tasks
- Stock management
- Administrative tasks
- Line care - dressing the line and flushing (once training)
- Liaise with patients
- Liaise with other members of the multi-disciplinary team
- Assist with data collection and audits
