Main duties of the job

We are currently looking for a variety of roles to support the running of our hospital including:

  • Administrators
  • Secretaries
  • Typists
  • Audio Typists
  • Co-ordinators
  • Data Entry

We can offer a range of short term and long-term assignments.

Assignments are Monday to Friday 37.5 per week

To provide administration support to a variety of departments within a hospital setting

To accurately and efficiently be able to deliver data input into several internal patient record system

Complete assigned work in a timely manner ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard

Patient contact both face to face and via phone conversations may be required.

Ability to deal with patient and visitor queries and provide informative information as and when required

To check data on the electronic patient record system, including confirmation of the patient/GP address etc.

To save work on the network drive in a format which is consistent with the department and can be easily located/retrieved.

To raise any queries relating to specific patient letters with the appropriate person.

To ensure any actions in dictated correspondence are passed for action to the appropriate person. To accurately take and record messages as required, ensuring they are passed to the appropriate individual.

To carry out other clerical activities as required, such as photocopying, filing, sorting and distributing letters, maintaining stationery supplies etc.
