Divisional Director of Nursing, Division of Neurosciences & Musculoskeletal (NMSK), Band 8d (12 month secondment/fixed term)
The Divisional Director of Nursing is a key senior nurse within the Trust, professionally accountable to the Deputy Chief Nursing Officer. This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the development and delivery of clinical and professional standards and ensuring the development of leadership competence and capacity within nursing. The post holder may hold delegated responsibility for areas of practice from the Deputy/Chief Nursing Officer and will have the opportunity to participate in system work across Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire (BNSSG).

- Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Council
- A postgraduate management qualification or substantial relevant experience at senior level
- Master's degree in Nursing and Midwifery or health related field or evidence of working at this level.
- Demonstrates evidence of ongoing continuous professional development.
Desirable
- Successful completion of an NHS Leadership Academy programme and/or an NHS Improvement Aspirant programme
